Rome Teaching Workshop 2023
Open Call for 2023 Rome Teaching Fellows. Thank you to all who applied. The Deadline has now past.
The AE Rome Teaching Workshop 2023 will bring together a cohort of five teaching fellows to Rome for 3-4 days between May and June 2023, to be resident in an apartment in Trastevere and to teach and lecture in the Palazzo Pio near Campo deβ Fiori. AE Rome Teaching Fellows will deliver an original 45-minute research lecture that has not been previously published or presented elsewhere on a topic of expertise in the history of architectural theory since the 1960s. Fellows will also participate in one of two debates, alongside other teaching fellows on key topics within the recent history of architectural theory. Fellows will also publish their lectures as book chapters in the Architecture Exchange Workshop Publication Series. All teaching fellows will be provided with compensation for flights from North America or Europe, accommodation in Rome in a shared faculty apartment, and an honorarium. Fellows will also be provided with free entry into the buildings as sites being visited by students during their time in Rome, and it is expected that they participate in these activities and interact with the students in these informal teaching settings as well.
To apply please complete the application form before Nov 1st @ 6pm (EST).
